XXth Congress

The Conference of Constitutional Courts holds congresses every three years.

The Conference (and the Circle of Presidents) is chaired by the President of the Court that will host the next congress. This same Court also provides the secretariat for the Conference. To date, 19 congresses have been held.

As part of its chairmanship of the Conference of European Constitutional Courts (CECC), the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania will host the 20th CECC Congress in Albania in 2027.

The Congress will focus on the theme “Freedom of Expression – Fake News as a Threat to Democracy.”
